Deviantartist Questionnaire

Finally after i don't know how many ages I'm updating my journal here and what a better way to update it with this questionnaire

. Lets begin!

How long have you been on DeviantArt? - For almost 9 years
What does your username mean? - The first was pisimau which actually should have been pisimew or something like that. In bulgarian we call the cats with "pisi pisi" which is "here kitty" and "mau" is just "meow" xD. The new one vLine - Designs is coming from my name Velina and sometimes my friends call me Villain and i decided to use this as my new user name.
Describe yourself in three words. - Emotional, dreamy, smiling
Are you left or right handed? - Right handed
What was your first deviation? - Don't remember, since I cleaned up the gallery a bit xD. May a drawing .
What is your favourite type of art to create? - Photomanipulations mainly, but i like to experiment with other types too.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? - Digital painting for sure.
What was your first favourite? - Probably a Legacy of Kain fan art,because i was searching for some fan arts here.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? - Mostly photomanipulations and digital paintings
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? - Thats a tough one . I have soo many favorite artists and it is hard to choose one. All dA artists are great!
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? - SilvieTepes
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? - Ah well the first person ever to write me here in dA was Jewel-Reaver. We were talking almost everyday on Windows Messenger and she helped me to get into the dA community. She was my first friend here on dA, but she sadly passed away 6 years ago ((. I still miss her (.
What are your preferred tools to create art? - Photoshop xD and recently my beloved wacom bamboo.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? - Among the nature.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? - May be winning my first contest ever!

On other news, last month i got my bachelor degree in Computer science which i had to suffer for 4 years and now comes the master for one more year. xD In the meantime i got the chance to teach the students in the university the basics of Photoshop and this year the basics of InDesign. Teaching is actually very fun truth to be told. Never expected to have such nice people for students. Still finding a full time job is a high priority to me and i really hope to find one in the next weeks ^^.

Also i just got obsessed with the One piece manga

. All 796 chapters read in only 3 months and i'm not even ashamed

. May be one of the best mangas i have ever had the chance to read ^^. I even started to color pages of the manga, so if anyone is interested and can color a manga page for you

Other stuff i do is to self-educate in game design and 3D since my dream is to become a game designer one day, heh ^^. I'm planning on making a small game with Unreal engine 3, but is still on the idea stage. I have to gather all my inspiration and start working on this little project of mine while i'm still free.

My first game jam ever! :D

Hello, people! Last week was very busy and interesting for me because I participated in my very first game jam ever!

Plovdiv Game Jam 2015 was part of the Global Game Jam and it was 3 days in total. The goal of the game jam is to form a team and create a game for 48 hours!

The first day was the day of the lectures. There were lecturers from UbiSoft Sofia, GameLoft,Unity,XS Software. There were also various workshops and a discussion about the women and their place in the game industry which was very interesting.
Sometime around the evening the theme of the game jam was announced - "What do you do now?" and we started to form our teams. My team consisted of total of 4 people. We made a game with Unreal Engine 3 which is called Tower Quest. We managed to make a working prototype for these 2 days. The goal of the game is to collect 3 spheres and when the player finds them all , wins the game. It is more of a first person platformer and a jumping puzzle ^^. I never thought that it will be so hard to make a game. We put a lot of effort and enthusiasm in our game

The third and final day was the day of the truth! We had to finish our games and upload them on the website of Global Game Jam which is : globalgamejam.org.
There were total 19 games created , which is awesome! All of them were so funny and amusing. I enjoyed all of them. You can find them here: globalgamejam.org/2015/jam-sit…

The Game Jam was so emotional and awesome. I had the chance to meet so many nice people and also gain some experience in the game design. I would totally participate again next time!

I finally managed to update my journal

I was so busy during this month and the past one as well. Catching up with uni,lots of projects and no time for art ://. I will try to submit more often during this holiday so stay tuned

My deviantart story :)

Hello,guys! I decided to post my dA story as well for DeviantArt's birthday

I'm here for almost 8 years and this is a lot of time. I remember back then I was a 7th grade kid obsessed with the Legacy of Kain games and looking for more fan art. So one day I was talking with a friend of mine ,also a big LoK fan and she sent a link to dA with lots of LoK fan arts

and this is how it started.
At first I only wanted to browse artworks and fav/comment ,but then I decided to make my own stuff and upload it.
My first artworks were really silly and ridiculous.They were mostly different wallpapers,gifs,avatars,signatures and some drawings.
One year later I discovered the photomanipulations and started to learn how to make them.They were not perfect of course.I was reading tutorials,trying out different techniques and so on. In time my artworks improved little by little,started to experiment,trying different sorts of art,not only photomanips,but website layouts for example,abstract and even fractals with Apophysis!

Along with that I discovered so many great and talented artist and become friends with some as well

.
I'm so happy that I found this place! It changed my life at some point. Everyday I log in and browse more and more awesome artworks,looking for inspiration or some nice stocks to use in the future or just to find fan arts of my favorite fandoms.

And now here I am at the threshold of the final 4th year at the Uni,on fire ,struggling to find my place under the sun,looking for possibilities after my graduation.Also I started to learn how to draw again looking at the books of Andrew Loomis,watching tutorials for 3D and for Unreal engine and dreaming that one day I will become a game designer and making great games for the audience^^.
But oh well only time will tell what will happen,but anyway I really want my dream to become true some day...

I want to thank everybody who supported me throughout all those 8 years! : )) It means a lot to me ! I want to share with you even better artworks in the future!
